By the Book Sunday School Class Prayer Requests for April 19th, 2009

The prayer requests are posted on the blog at http://pcbcbythebook.blogspot.com.  Please check them out there so you can see how God is working in our lives!

Praises: Doug Arterburn is recovering from throat surgery -- tonsils removed, and an abscess treated right behind the tonsils.
Patty Tucker's niece, Amy Bennett, took a one-way ticket to France without much in the way of financial resources. Latest news: she has found an art job and a studio apartment.
Tonia Benfield and the girls are back safely from Indiana.

Prayers: Jerry Ellis of the 8:30 a.m. service praise team continues to rest and recover. He still has a partial arterial blockage, and is having some weakness and shortness of breath. Keep him, and Jacquie (his wife), in your prayers.
Andy Wheeler continues physical therapy for his knee; he's had some swelling, but generally he's doing better.
Claudia McManamey is doing better at the moment after receiving cortisone shots for her shoulders. Doctors want to MRI her shoulder joints, worried that there might be something more going on.
Angie Blanton mentioned her dad -- his biopsy showed positive for prostate cancer. He will meet in May with his doctors to discuss treatment options.
Valerie Dinwiddie's dad's tumor is still inactive; they are dealing with possible infections.
Gail Ryder's foster child is adapting well at her home. He misses his family.  Pray for him, his family, and Gail's family.
Please keep praying for the whole church, the leadership, and God's will in all the many projects we are undertaking.
