Mike Benfield has a prayer blog for the prayer requests: http://pcbythebook.blogspot.com. We are currently adding the prayer requests to the blog, as well as sending them out via email. Eventually, we would hope to move the prayer requests completely to the blog.
Please note -- I try to get these notes right, but sometimes I get names or prayer requests mixed up. Please write back and I'll send out corrections.

Praises:
Praises for the ongoing building extension. Walls keep going up, gravel in the foundation. It's too cold for laying the concrete floors, but when it warms up we should see progress.
Also praises for Art Lasante, Paul Heiby, Harry Stickley and the rest of the men and women working to keep the building clean.
Heather Arterburn's husband Douglas had been suffering from a kidney stone; it has cleared up.
The women's group had a fun gathering Saturday night at the church. They watched a movie ("Five People You Will Meet in Heaven"), shared chocolate and popcorn, and had a good time in fellowship.
Travel mercies for the youth group and Jason and Becky, on a ski trip this weekend. Also for Joe Herod, visiting family in Florida.
We are told that Heather and Eric Zerkle will be back this summer as Vacation Bible School missionaries! They were real leaders in the church as members in both Awana and VBS, and we can't wait to see them.
Prayers:
Please keep praying for God to work a miracle for Tom Carlson's dad. He's had some moderate, continuing progress, but the long-term prognosis is not real good.
Valerie Dinwiddie asked for continuing prayers for her family; they are dealing with some family issues, as well as her Dad's health. One report on Thursday turned out well; another one will be coming this week.
Eileen Kramer mentioned her brother Bill Rickard; he is working with the National Institutes of Health to find a bone marrow donor.
Micah Bolton (Jason and Becky's son) has come down with strep throat.
The McManamey's son-in-law Judd has put in his retirement papers from the
Marines; Jim and Claudia report he is at peace with his decision. Please keep praying for a successful transition for the family to civilian life, and for his job search.
Kim Glasoe has been putting in numerous job applications. Please keep praying for success. Kim and Lisa also mentioned their daughter Rebecca. She is working part-time and studying. She has sprained her back and is now having job issues with a supervisor, who wants her back to work. Please pray for healing and help in her job.
Gail Ryder mentioned her son Raymond. He has tendinitis and ligament problems in his knee, and physical therapy has not been helping. He may need surgery. Please pray for medical guidance and wisdom.
Philip Ridgeway mentioned his friend Kevin Bechtel. His blood clots have been clearing up, and his health has improved; but last week his father passed away. Please pray for peace and strength and continued recovery.
Art Lasante, a church member who had recently had back surgery, was rear-ended in a car accident last Sunday. His back is very painful; he will be seeing a specialist this week. We pray that nothing serious has been knocked out of alignment. Another member, Paul Heiby, is suffering from walking pneumonia. Please keep them both in your prayers.
Dana Blanton mentioned her nephew, who has legal issues. Please pray for the family.
Announcements:
The Truth Project is meeting every Sunday evening at the McManamey home. Please see Jim McM. or John Flowers if you want to know more about the course.
Don't forget to contribute a quilt square for Gail Ryder's Family Square Quilt Project. The plan is to sew a quilt, have the men build a frame, and decorate part of the new addition with the quilt. Any moneys not used
for the quilt will be added to the Building Fund.
Ongoing Prayers:
Please keep our youth group, and pastor Jason and Becky, in your prayers.
Keep AWANA in your prayers, and all the leaders and helpers. Help is always needed, with registration or with the activities.
Don't forget to pray for our building effort and the faith of our congregation, all of us pulling together.
