By the Book Prayer Requests for Sunday 7/25/2010

Praises, travel mercies:
Pastor Doug is traveling to Tennessee this week, and will be away next Sunday. Should be back on Monday August 2.
JK Flowers and new wife Crystal are traveling to Switzerland on vacation...
Becky Bolton came to our class this Sunday. It was so good to see her! She said things are going well for the family under the circumstances, that she has been able to witness and she is about to finish her first semester of nursing school.
Heather Zerkle is back home, out of the hospital and recovering. She was in church today.
Also, Jay Clement (John's son) attended our class today.

Prayer requests, announcements:
Don't forget the Mother-Daughter tea next Saturday July 31 from 2-4 p.m. at the church. The theme is Royalty. Please do attend, even if you are not a mother or have easy access to mother or daughter.

Also, remember we are planning for a potluck dinner on Saturday August 7th at the Flowers home.

Rhonda Pierce asked for prayers for herself and for her daughter Britney. For herself -- she is facing difficult decisions at her work; for her daughter, she asks prayers for maturity and growth, and for God to make his will clear to her.

John Flowers reported back on their visit to JK and Crystal. He attended the church they have joined, and it is involved in a new church planting; John asked for prayers for JK and Crystal's church, for God's will and for the Word to reach many souls.
As always, we continue to pray for Claudia McManamey; for Gail Bird-Ryder and Raven; for John Clement's son Jay; for Phil Ridgway's brother, nephew, and his father; and for Larry Springer and Winnie Cooper's full recovery.
And, of course, we continue to remember and pray for the people suffering and trying to rebuild in Haiti.
